For getting there, visitors can drive from Tawau town to Balung and usually it will take around 40 minutes. The estate also prides itself on being a developer of large-scale teak wood and arenga pinnata (sugar palm) plantation. Also found here are an abundance of fruits, from the local favorites to more exotic species, such as the dragon fruit. The chalets are built with river stones and local timber, giving it a rustic feel.
